I was in Milwaukee for business and actually done a little early. I knew I needed most of the unexpected free time to claw my way through Chicago traffic. Still there had to be time for a cache or two (actually three). After passing on a cache in a small cemetery with about five employees trimming the lawn, I decided to head for this cache. I found the cache with no problem, signed the log, and was headed towards Ariel when someone said hi. It turned out to be the cache owner. We spent some time talking cache and he showed me his home made geocaching head bar for his truck.
I asked if he collected pathtags and offered a couple of our local geocaching group's pathtags for his collection. He said sure. When I got to the Geomobile, I realized I couldn't find my cache bag which had the pathtags, other swag, rechargeable spare batteries, my pda, travel bugs and coins we found in caches ... After a few frantic minutes, I walked back to his cache and found my cache bag. If I hadn't offered a couple of path tags, who knows how many miles I would have traveled before I realized my bag was missing. Caching Karma's a good thing.
