If you want to buy some trackable swag at a great price, now is the time to buy some of the GeoWoodstock swag that was not sold at the event last month. There are limited items of most goods that were sold at the event with the exception of the pathtag set. These are all sold out. You can still buy some quantities of the official geocoin, the bear and eagle cachekinz, and the event lanyard with the event pathtag. There are also some trackable shirts, lanyards, and USB drives.
This is a chance to buy some great swag at a reasonable price and do some good by helping the GeoWoodstock IX Committee convert the items back to cash so they can close the account. If your interested, please contact Wes of kcepenn at wes.kce@eaglezip.net

It's Here!
The official GeoWoodstock IX Blog has arrived. Take a look and check back often. We'll be adding labels for attractions and restaurants, stats for you number geeks (like me), local links, and LOTS of photos of Warren and the surrounding counties. If you want to see something that's not there just post a comment and we'll do our best to deliver.

GeoWoodstock IX - 2 July 2011 - Warren, PA
We got the bid!

In March 2009, we finished a bid proposal to host Geowoodstock in Warren County Pennsylvania. We didn't think we could compete with the northwest since this year is the 10-year anniversary, but the committee said try again for 2011 so we did. It will be interesting to see this many cachers descend on the tiny county of Warren Pennsylvania for the weekend. 2011 will also be amazing with the Allegany State Park Mega Event in May in New York, GeoWoodstock in Warren in July and the Midwest Geobash in Ohio or Indiana in August. WooHoo.
These are the pictures that were included with the bid. You can find most of them elsewhere in my blogs, but they are nice enough to repeat. If any blog viewers have questions about Warren PA, please contact me. Ali and I spend a lot of time there. It's a super place. I hope you all can come and enjoy this.
